Get your Potensic ATOM 2 ready for its first flight — download the Potensic Eve App, charge and install the smart battery, set up the remote controller, and learn the flight, hover, and safety controls.
This guide covers the Potensic ATOM 2 and the Potensic Eve App. Follow these steps to set it up and complete your first flight.

Charge & Install the Smart Battery
Charge the battery to activate it before using the drone for the first time.
- Connect the charger to the battery, the remote controller, or the charging hub to charge.
- Insert a smart battery into the drone until it clicks into place.
Set Up the Remote Controller
Install the control sticks on the remote controller and connect your mobile device.
Power On & Activate
- Power on/off: press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Start the Potensic Eve App and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the activation.
Operating the Drone (Mode 2)
The default control layout is Mode 2. Press and hold the take-off button, then swipe to take off. Use the control sticks to fly the drone as shown below.
Avoid Adverse Weather
Do not use the drone in adverse weather conditions: below −10°C, above 40°C, in areas with strong electromagnetic interference, or in thunderstorms, snow, or strong winds.
Hover Instantly
When in auto flight modes, press the H button once to make the drone hover immediately.
Emergency Propeller Stop
Danger
Emergency Propeller Stop: press and hold both sticks for 2 seconds simultaneously. This stops the propellers in mid-air and the drone will fall, so use it only in an emergency.
Restricted Environments
Do not fly in restricted environments or perform dangerous flight operations — for example near government buildings, military facilities, or crowds, and avoid flying close to tall buildings, through windows, under bridges, near manned aircraft, into trees, or over water.
